Attorney Benjamin Weismann

Benjamin Weissman was born in Sacramento California, but was raised in Vero Beach Florida. Mr. Weissman attended the University of Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in History in 2010. Mr. Weissman wrote a senior thesis on cultural artifacts from late antiquity in Britain, and the implications of these artifacts regarding the movement of peoples to Britain from Scandinavia.

Mr. Weissman attended Washington University School of Law. During the first summer of law school, Mr. Weissman interned under now Chief United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida Steven D. Merryday in Tampa, Florida. During the second summer of law school, Mr. Weissman interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Chicago Illinois. During Mr. Weissman’s third year of law school, Mr. Weissman participated in an Appellate Clinic co-drafting a Writ of Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court as part of an appellate team. Mr. Weissman additionally interned with the Missouri Supreme Court during his third year of law school.

Mr. Weissman passionately believes in the role of a lawyer as advocate and closest fiduciary to any client that retains his services. Including zealous representation of the client’s interest, Mr. Weissman personally believes that it is the lawyer’s primary obligation to fully inform the client about the applicable law surrounding their case so that the client can make fully informed choices regarding their issues.

Mr. Weissman is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. The focus of Mr. Weissman’s practice involves, general civil litigation, debt collection defense, mortgage foreclosure defense, corporate/contract law, and issues surrounding Federal and/or State Civil Procedure.

In his spare time, Mr. Weissman enjoys watching professional sports, playing poker, and expanding his knowledge in the fields of history, archaeology, and astrophysics.
